Revolutionised store

Tesco has revolutionised it’s Watford store, aiming to make the shopping habit an activity for the whole family, as hypermarkets continue to battle with internet purchasing.

Pinnacle are proud to have been part of this store refresh, which now incorporates a Giraffe restaurant outlet, Harris & Hoole coffee shop, F&F clothing store, Euphorium artisan bakery, nail salon and “community space”. The media dubbed “supermarket of the future” is the first of it’s kind in the UK.

Pinnacle’s familiarity of the retail sector allowed us to work closely and effectively with the fit-out architects of each brand ensuring a fully coordinated approach was initiated to the structural and civil design. We were able to advise on the most cost effective solutions due to our significant understanding of retail space and were reactive to changing design scenarios throughout the project.

It was of paramount importance that the store remained open for business at all times. Pinnacle played a key role in implementing the design changes in phases to allow minimum disruption to customers.
