STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

As an engineer, you will assume a key position in planning, design, and construction, working within a close-knit, international team. Excellent English skills are essential, and at least three years of professional experience are required. Your expertise and technical know-how will be fostered, while creativity is also valued to develop innovative solutions.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Preparation of verifiable static calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures (precast concrete elements and cast-in-place concrete) in German and English.
- Variant analysis to determine optimal supporting structures and execution of preliminary design calculations
- Participation in the constructive implementation of structural solutions
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues from other planning departments and branches
- Participation in the further development of system solutions
- Site and building inspections
- Completing work within deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Profile
- Completed studies in civil engineering (specialisation in structural engineering, statics, steel construction, reinforced concrete construction or similar)
- Master's degree and experience in data centers preferred
- Knowledge across building materials, as well as confident application of current construction and design standards; knowledge of European national annexes of Eurocodes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the HOAI service phases and RIBA workdays is advantageous.
- Experience in preparing static calculations in steel and reinforced concrete construction
- Extensive experience with common design software such as RFEM & FRILO
- Strong communication and integration skills within interdisciplinary planning teams
- Independent, creative, project- and goal-oriented work style
- Willingness to travel on business, including within Europe
- Driving licence category B
- Fluent German and English skills
