“In early 2016, before graduating University, I put a lot of thought into what sort of company I would like to work for and form part of. When researching companies and what they could offer fresh grads, one thing that caught my attention was Pinnacle’s “Investors in People” and “100 Companies of the Year” accreditations. Three years later I have not been disappointed. I found myself working in a great team and have received valuable training tailored to my skills and knowledge with view of future development”.

"Having worked in the industry a number of years prior to joining Pinnacle with little to no further training or support offered to me previously, I was immensely grateful when joining the company in the Spring of 2013 as a Technician, as Pinnacle immediately provided me with the support and encouragement I needed to pursue my long-term aspiration of gaining a degree in civil engineering. In September of the same year, I enrolled onto the FdSc Civil Engineering programme on a part-time day release basis at University with the company fully supporting me financially and academically.

"I graduated with Merit in the Summer of 2016 and then quickly enrolled onto the BSc(Hons) Degree programme, also on a part-time day release basis for a further two years. After a total five years of study, I Graduated with a First Class Honours degree and am currently working as a competent Civil Engineer as part of a great team. I’m now working towards gaining IEng accreditation with the ICE, with the full support of Pinnacle behind me."

“I started out at Pinnacle in my first accounting role with AAT - Foundation Level. Pinnacle supported me in becoming a fully qualified AAT Technician. They also encouraged me to broaden my field into the payroll function. Pinnacle are currently supporting me through training to become a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA)”.

‘I started Pinnacle in September 2016 as an Apprentice Business Administrator. The company supported me in achieving my BTEC qualification in Business Administration with Oaklands College in May 2018. Pinnacle gave me time to complete my college assignments within working hours, and to have regular visits from my tutor. By doing an apprenticeship and working within the workplace whilst studying, I was able to put into practice what I had learned in theory; helping me to develop new skills more efficiently. As a result, I was promoted to Business Support Administrator in September 2018.’

“I discovered Pinnacle when it was recommended to me by a former colleague from summer internships at another London Consultancy. He, like a number of my then-former colleagues, had recently joined Pinnacle and had only great things to say. Having now held a position as a Graduate Structural Engineer for a year, I fully agree with all that I had been told. From my first day on the job I was given the opportunity to work on a huge number of projects, from designing new data centres for large-scale clients to working on residential and office projects in the heart of London. Having real responsibility from day one really made me feel like a valued part of the team and working closely with senior engineers means I receive help in the areas I need it most, yet still feel supported in those I’m confident in.”

Aaron Riordan

“Since joining Pinnacle a year ago as an Apprentice Structural Technician; I’ve experienced a great deal of encouragement and support in everything I have done whether it be at work or in my studies. I have just finished my first year of a BTEC Level 3 course in Construction and the Built Environment, achieving distinction level. I have enjoyed the challenge of a steep learning curve allowing me to undertake larger and more challenging projects. I look forward to furthering my education and career with Pinnacle.”

Apprentice Structural Technician

Scott Robinson

"Since joining Pinnacle 3 years ago as an Apprentice, I have received an amazing amount of support and encouragement from everyone throughout the business. Within those 3 years Pinnacle have helped me achieve a double Merit BTEC Level 3 diploma in Construction and the built environment (Civil Engineering), Level 2 & 3 Diploma in IT User Skills (QCF) and have also sent me onto a Excitech 3 day Revit. I am now undertaking the BTEC HND Civil Engineering with the support of Pinnacle".
